Loftia known issues: controller, Mac and gameplay fixes
Find your symptom, try the developer’s documented action, and use the linked guide when you need more detail.
Stuck underwater? Use Teleport to Start in the Menu Hub. Housing stations empty? Travel to a district, then return home. For controller or Mac problems, use the symptom table below.
Find your problem

| Gamepad settings will not respond to thumbsticks | Use the D-pad to navigate and adjust settings. |
| Gamepad stops responding after mouse/keyboard use | Click into the Loftia window to re-enable the gamepad. |
| Poor performance or crashes on Mac | Try Low graphics settings, as recommended by the developer. |
| Cannot recycle several items at once | The Recycler currently handles one object at a time. |
Stuck underwater
- Open the Menu Hub.
- Select Teleport to Start at the bottom of the screen.
- Report the stuck location through the official support channels.
Housing stations appear empty
- Travel to a district.
- Return to player housing and check the stations again.
- File or upvote a bug report, as requested by the developer.
Gamepad and Steam Input
For a gamepad that does not work in Steam, follow the path below. For a mouse/gamepad conflict, click into the Loftia window instead. Inside settings, navigate with the D-pad.
- In your Steam library, right-click Loftia.
- Open Properties, then Controller.
- Change the controller setting to Enable Steam Input.
Mac performance and crashes
Try Low graphics settings. The notice highlights older Macs with less than 16 GB RAM as particularly affected. This is troubleshooting advice, not a new minimum hardware requirement or a guaranteed crash fix.
If your issue is not listed
Check the current official news page and report your game version, platform, exact symptom and what you already tried. Old demo patch notes do not establish the state of an Early Access bug.
